The New Look
By no means am I anywhere close to being a webdesigner. I manage to get by because I merely fumble around with the code until I get it right. That explains why it has taken me the last few days to figure out how to get my “test blog” from the temp location over to the normal location without messing everything up and without losing information.
I think I got it right. You should be looking at a newly redesigned blog with added features that I have wanted for sometime now but only recently took the time to do. The new design is now has a database backbone and is powered by WordPress. I signed up for a WordPress account back in October when I read an article on Digg.com that mentioned they were giving away free accounts, but I never took the time to set anything up. goodbyemailbox.wordpress.com was just sitting there for the longest time with a relatively lame looking default page. A few weeks ago I decided to see what I had apparently been missing out on. It was a lot. Once I figured out how to customize the blog, I wanted to replace my old blogger.com blog. For some reason, it was confusing, it probably had something to do with me knowing dicksquat about php.
After hours of cursing to myself, the new design has finally arrived. I hope you enjoy.
