MR F: Part II, and 101 other reasons why Japan Rocks Your Socks Off
Ha! I must have been drunk when I wrote that last post. I didn't even write about what the title of the post was about. In order for Mike and I to get to our hostel in Kyoto, we had to take a 50 minute bus ride through the city. About three stops into the ride, a young girl boards the bus and heads straight to where Mike and I are sitting. She has a big smile on her face and is saying something in Japanese, but of course Mike and I can't understand. She then proceeds to shove her arm behind mike's back as to force him from his seat. Mike and I just sort of looked at her and assumed there was some rule where if a girl needed a seat on the bus, she could just say something and the guys had to move, so we got up out of our seats and let her sit there. Moments later we hear her scream in what can only be compared to the Jamster Frog. If you are ever around Mike, ask him to do his impression of her because it is awesome and dead on. She continued to yell and make noises, half Japanese half jibberish. Never had I wanted to know the Japanese language more than on that bus. I can only imagine the string of vulgarities that streamed from her mouth. So that was our first encounter of a Japanese turrets person and I would have to say we were caught off guard. Everything is going good. I just got back from Hiroshima today, which has been my favorite city to visit so far. I wish I had more time there. I got to see a beautiful garden and a bunch of really amazing historical sights, including the atom bomb peace dome. I have a lot to say about it but I am kinda tired. Don't worry, there will be plenty of pictures and stories when I get back. So far, over 5 gigs of photos, so be ready for a major photocast update in the coming days/weeks. Corn Drink for President!
