The Sandwich Social

I was just talking about how much I love sandwiches today with Morgan and Colter. Who doesn’t love a good sandwich? We thought it would be fun to organize a casual event for friends to get together to make and eat sandwiches. So please swing on by our place on Saturday February 27th around noon to enjoy simple conversation with friends all while making and eating sandwiches.

Here is a list of basic items that we will have supplied:

  • mustard (yellow, spicy brown & dijon)
  • mayonnaise
  • pepperoncinis
  • oil & vinegar
  • pickles
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • 1 Whole Wheat loaf and a bag of Dutch Crunch Rolls
  • sodas and water
  • some beer

Please bring any of your favorite bread, cheese, meat, condiments, extras, drinks, and sides to create your preferred sandwich and to share with others.

If you plan on coming, please RSVP in the comments with your name and what you plan on bringing so we don’t have too much overlap. Also feel free to invite sandwich-loving people to this event.

Thanks, and hope to see you here.

i hear we’re bringing some east coast flava to the party. chicken fingers drenched in hot sauce with chunky blue cheese – aka chicken finger subs – but probably in mini versions.

I’m going to try and swing by Lee’s Sandwiches to pick up some of their fresh rolls the night before. Also, veggie bacon and some other fixin’s.

I got a pack of sliced chicken, sliced turkey, provolone, and pepper jack cheese. I will also try to run over to the Honeybaked Ham Store and grab some side dishes compliments of Jesse Collier’s Christmas bonus which was a HBHS gift certificate.
