A while back I was hoping for a change in the Thursday night line up of television to make my viewing experience a little more viewer-friendly. With shows like The Office, 30 Rock, and The Sarah Silverman Program, Thursday night is clearly the best night for comedy on television, but my only qualm was the half-hour gaps between the shows.
This Thursday, The Office and 30 Rock returns from their brief mid-season hiatus at a special new time, super-sized, and back to back. From 8:00pm to 9:23pm you will be able to laugh at genuinely funny comedy. It's much better to laugh at funny jokes from a show than to laugh at shows that are a joke.
As an added bonus, the amazing Will Arnett will be a guest star on 30 Rock so it'll be 100% more awesome. However, The Sarah Silverman Program is now on Wednesdays and they aren't making new shows yet. I hope it gets picked up for a second season.
