Michael Showalter and The Comedy Men From Tomorrow

The Comedy Men From Tomorrow had the last show of their west coast tour yesterday at the Knitting Factory in LA and it was every bit of funny as I had hoped for. Michael Showalter was hilarious as were the other two guys, Eugene Mirman (who resembles Zach Braff circa 2013) and Leo Allen (who resembles Marty Knowles circa 2006).

Just hearing Showalter's voice was enough to make me laugh because it reminded me of a bunch of State skits. I really enjoyed it when he expressed his particular admiration for Creed when he said that he loves the song With Arms Wide Open so much that it makes him want to "dick-slap God". I was able to record the majority of his set with the video camera on my cell phone but the audio is crappy due to the fact that I rested the phone on the speaker in front of me. If anyone wants to brave the bad audio, message me and I will send you the link.

I also saw the two other Michael's from The State after the show last night: Michael Ian Black and Michael Patrick Jann. The only other time I have been to the Knitting factory was for the Stella tour a couple of years ago and I saw the Stella trio. So I think for now on, I will only go to the Knitting factory if it's to see a member from the State.

They showed this video last night which I found rather amusing.
