The other day while driving down Irvine Blvd. towards the 55 freeway, Robin and I were witness to some good ol' fashion Orange County Road Rage.
While stopped in some slow-moving traffic, a couple of cars next to us decided to put on a show for all the other cars. This lady shown in the picture got out of her car waving a large maglight at the driver in the car in front of her. The window was down and she was exchanging some words with the dude.
Eventually she walked back to her car and the dude got out of his car and followed her back to her car where he proceeded to spit at her. It really doesn't even qualify as a spit since it barely made it out of his mouth and then quickly fell to the pavement in front of him. It was kinda sad. The two yelled at each other some more and then went back into their cars and we all drove off.
Although I didn't want to see anyone get hurt, I was secretly hoping that some serious action would have taken place like the lady cracking the back windshield to the guy's car or the guy actually landing his loogie. But alas, all we have is the brief memory and this video.
PS – Sorry for the lack of updates lately. It is so hard to get into a regular blogging schedule.

funny you posted this – marty and his roommate were just discussing the protective powers of their maglights on sunday night. who knew a flashlight really could be used as a weapon? and to think, all the times i could have been killed when i taunted security guards saying ‘what are ya gunna do, get me with your maglight!?!’
