The sun and the Rockies beat down hard on the Dodgers yesterday. It was crazy hot at Chávez Ravine as the Dodgers took their lumps and Morgan and I took in the heat. The highlight of the game might have been the Rockies starting pitching had the girl above not run out on the field in the ninth inning.
I give her credit; she was the most exciting thing out on the field all day. She entered from the low wall in the outfield down the first base line and made it all the way out to center field where she changed her course and started in towards the infield. After a couple of quick jukes she managed to dodge her pursuers but eventually they tackled her between first and second and carried her away. My only question is why the hell did she still have her clothes on?
