Every so often, I enjoy going to my sitemeter.com stats page for my blog to see how many people are visiting my blog and how they are getting there. In other words, what page directed them to my site or did they enter from a bookmark or just by typing in the address. A good majority of visitors are from Google image searches. Throughout my months publishing this blog, I have included several images that seem to be a magnet for visitors. Hands down, my picture of Melissa Joan Hart has brought in the most traffic overall. Borat, Sneeze, ImOscar.com, Data Goonies, Amish suck, and Reno 911 are just a small sample of searches that have brought people to my blog. Occasionally I get really random searches that make me laugh or wonder who the hell is searching for this shit. For example:
- woolly mammoth steaks for sale
- anaheim angels glitter
- zack morris shirtless photo galleries
- super crime
- goodbye hymen (I promise I am not making this shit up)
Those are just some of the funnier searches I’ve had in the last calendar month. But occasionally I get a couple of searches that are just downright disturbing. I don’t get offended very easily, but to see what type of things people are searching for is just terrible sometimes. Take this one for example:
- top rated rape videos
I guess they wouldn’t end up at my site if I didn’t have those key words somewhere within the pages of blog entries on my site, but I guarantee that I didn’t arrange the words in that way. Perhaps the most disturbing search I found in the last few days was someone from South Bend, Indiana (41.7272, -86.2448 Lat/Long) who was looking for “Hannah Montana P*rn”. To avoid getting any more hits than necessary for that particular search, I have replaced the “o” with an asterisk. For those of you who don’t know who Hannah Montana is, she is a 14-year-old actress/singer/daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus. Earlier this month I wrote a post about how I never knew who she was until I started working at my current job that creates a lot of content for Disney. So the fact that this dude was searching for p*rn staring a 14-year-old girl is quite disturbing. I would like to see Chris Hansen pay this guy a visit.

And while I am on the subject of Hannah Montana, here is one last search that pointed someone to my site:
- did hannah montana die in a car accident?

Man I hope those woolly Mammoth Steaks get there in time.
