18th Annual West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval

Every year Chumpy Challier invites me up to LA on Halloween to walk around Santa Monica Blvd. because he says it's a lot of fun. Well finally after 4 years I finally went and experienced what I had been missing out on all these years. The 18th Annual West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is host to what seemed like half a million people in the Halloween spirit, but apparently it is only around 350,000. Over a mile of Santa Monica Blvd is closed off to traffic and is filled with people with every imaginable costume. Some people don't dress up and just come to people watch. Those people are called wieners. Another portion of the cast of thousands consists of men dressed up in women's clothing and make up. Those people are called drag queens or Dan. Here are a few costumes that I thought were worth taking a picture of for whatever reason.

Got something to say? Go for it!
