Walter, Dan, and I went on a bike ride yesterday from the Dude's house down to Dana Point Harbor and back. We had lunch down at the Coffee Importers and while eating we saw a bunch of people gathered on the bridge that goes across the harbor. We jumped on our bikes and went to go see what was going on.
It turns out that Fox is shooting a scene for their latest blockbuster, The Death and Life of Bobby Z starring Paul Walker and Morpheus from the Matrix. Based on the two leads, the group of motorcycle dudes lined up on the bridge, and the fact that the PA guy who was ushering us away told me that they would be doing stunt work and using squibs later in the week, I can only imagine this movie will be awesome. So while we weren't able to watch them film from a close distance Walter was able to yell up at Fishburne, "Which pill, the red or the blue?"
Remember the last time we took this bike ride? I had written a short thing on the kids we saw hanging out in the river bed. Those same two kids were there again. This is the girl who wasn't pictured in the last story. I guess playing outdoors is more commendable than playing video games indoors, even though these two choose to play in sewage runoff.

sweet.
