Dolby Headphone

I was listening to the latest diggnation podcast yesterday while I was on the Metrolink on my way up to LA. I was surprised when I heard a portion of their podcast was done in Dolby Headphone technology. If you're a tech geek like me, you'll probably dig(g) this. It basically simulates 5.1 Dolby surround sound within the confines of a single pair of headphones. You don't even need a special pair of Dolby-certified headphones; I just used the standard earbuds that come with the iPod.
(side note: I believe I'm the only person I know that thinks the Apple earbuds are comfortable to use.)

If you want to check it out, you have a few options. First, grab a pair of headphones and plug that shit into your computer.

You can hear Dolby's demo on their site.

  • Click here and then click on the image that looks like this.

You can also listen to the portion of the podcast that I was listening to.

Or you can download the entire podcast from the Revision3 website.

S.C.E.P.H.tv

That's SuperChocolateEruptionPowerHour.tv

That's our radio show turned into an effin Online TV Show. If the nation of "New Bento Box" goes down we gotta get that off the ground. At least get S.C.E.P.H. the podcast off the ground... but i'm thinking the video blog would be killer...
